The Regis School Ofsted Report

The Regis School was subject to a Section 5 inspection on 20 and 21 November 2013.

Inspectors were impressed with the academy and praised the standard of teaching which was said to be “typically good and often outstanding”.  Pastoral care, leadership and governance were also areas which received significant praise.

 

The inspectors were also pleased with the school’s Sixth Form which achieved its best ever A Level results in the summer of 2013.  Inspectors put this down to the ‘excellent pastoral care and high quality teaching’ that the Sixth Form students receive.

On 11 December 2015, The Regis School received a monitoring inspection carried out in accordance with the no formal designation procedures and conducted under section 8 of the Education Act 2005.

Having evaluated all the evidence, Her Majesty's Inspector was of the opinion that 'leaders and managers have taken effective action to maintain the high standards of behaviour and attitudes identified at the academy's previous inspection'.
