Teacher of Health & Social Care

Required for September 2018

Full Time - Enhanced salary scale

At The Regis School, we enjoy building positive relationships with young people.

We are a big school. About 1500 students and nearly 200 staff. We have an astounding school building with superb facilities across all subjects, but that doesn’t define who we are. What defines us is our very real sense of community as a Rights Respecting school; a togetherness that permeates through daily school life and focuses everyone on the job in hand – ensuring The Best in Everyone.

We need someone to join us to teach Health & Social Care, from Year 9 to Year 13.  The Head of Faculty and Team Leader are happy to offer any support and training should you need or want it.  The one thing you will definitely need is a passion for your subject and know how to motivate our young people to feel the same.

We offer pay scales above the national standard with rapid progression for those who get consistent outstanding student outcomes, reduced gym membership to our on-site gym, reduced fees for the on-site nursery, a laptop and a tablet device.

We will give you a curriculum framework, a modern classroom with excellent facilities, comprehensive CPD opportunities, your timetable of classes and above all, the freedom to teach with creativity to motivate our students to work hard and achieve their potential.

We are happy receive applications from every level of the teaching community.  You might be looking for your first teaching post; that’s great, we will support you and offer you structured training to make it the right start to your career.  You might be looking to move schools or areas; that’s great too. We recognise we can all learn from each other and we love new ideas!  And you might be looking to return to teaching after a break; brilliant! We can offer you a great place to find your feet again and rediscover your passion for teaching.

We are also interested to hear from you if you are looking for a promoted post, as we may be able to offer some additional responsibility with a TLR, for the right candidate.

There is an open invite for you to come and see us because we appreciate that, in teaching, moving to a new school is a significant decision.  We are convinced our young people will sell this opportunity better than anything you can read on a website, so we encourage you to come and meet us all. Our recruiter, Richard, is happy to arrange this for you. / 01273 729465.
