The Regis School The best in everyone

Year 11 bulletin

Dear Parent/Carer,

We have shared a bulletin with Year 11 today to help clarify some of their questions and to support them in ensuring they are doing the right thing during the next few weeks.

As you will already be aware they are now following a more flexible way of working, in comparison to their timetable prior to half term. This hands over to them a level of responsibility and flexibility they have not had before and requires them to make mature decisions about what is best for them as an individual.

In essence flexible working for them means:

  • They attend all their exams
  • They must attend all lessons where the final exam for that subject has not yet been taken.
  • They must attend booster sessions for the subjects they have exam entries for.
  • At other times they are permitted to be off site and studying at home. They are not permitted to wonder/hang around in the streets in the local area.

Please have a look at the information shared with them today and make sure they are clear what is expected of them. If students are doing the right thing then they will be able to enjoy the benefits of working in this way, if they are not it will be removed.

If you have any questions please do not hesitate to get in touch and ask.

If there is anything we can do to further support your son/daughter through this final exam period, please do not hesitate to get in touch.

We will email again at the beginning of next week with next week’s bulletin.

Kind regards,

The Year 11 Support Team

Mrs Lewis, Mr Crittenden and Mrs James.
