Regis School students across Years 8 & 9 have been releasing their inner rock god every Tuesday afternoon whilst attending ‘Rock School’ this term. Rock school is an opportunity for students of all abilities to learn, play and perform together in band based groups whilst being supported by our Sixth Form music students.
Guitarist, drummers, bassist, pianists and vocalists have been picking up new skills, brushing up on their musicianship and learning songs by artists such as AC/DC and Nirvana with an aim to record their progress in our recording studio!
Rock School also gives our talented Sixth Formers an opportunity to offer 1-1 tuition and workshop based sessions with younger students, a great skill to have before venturing off to pursue their musical careers. Keep your ears peeled for some recordings of our TRS Rock School students in the near future!
