STEM Competition Winners!

A huge congratulations to George Sinclair and Oscar Cartwright who were joint winners of the STEM careers poster competition.
Students were asked to create a poster about a career they were interested in, that must link to STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Mathematics). They needed to include a description of the career, and an explanation of how it linked to STEM.
There were 22 entries, and each student who entered received 10 achievement points!
Oscar’s poster was chosen as a winning entry because of the amount of detail it contained about his chosen career - Meteorology. He also explained how it linked to Maths and Science, and included his own drawings.
George’s poster was made on the computer. He had chosen web design and created the poster to look like its own website!
A massive thank you to all students who participated, and well done to Oscar and George who each receive a Kindle Fire for their work.
