PPE Results and Year 11 Parents Evening
Wednesday 25 March
Students will attend an assembly during period 4 on the 25th of March before collecting their PPE results envelopes to share with their parents. This will be similar to the mock reveal that we carried out in December.
This is the same day that we will be hosting our ‘face to face’ Parents Evening. You will receive a notification to inform you that you can start booking appointments on Monday 16th March. Appointments will be available from 3:30pm to 6:30pm. This is an important opportunity to ensure that students and parents get detailed feedback on the PPEs and gain an understanding of what students’ current attainment is, what they can achieve at the end of the year, and what they need to do to close their gaps and maximise their grades.
Easter Revision Camps
31 March - 2 April
7 April - 9 April
Teachers will be ensuring that students are well equipped with the information and resources that they need to revise effectively during the Easter holidays, with a particular focus on addressing individual gaps. To support students with their structured revision we will be running ‘Revision Camps’ on Tuesday to Thursday of each week during the break. These will be offered by a range of subjects, with sessions running between 9am and 12pm each day and will be designed to support students in addressing the most common issues arising from the PPEs. The full offer of interventions will be shared with parents and students soon. The Hub will also be open on each of these days from 9am to 12pm for students to revise independently.
Final Push Evening
Tuesday 14 April
After the Easter holidays we are inviting parents and students back in for our Final Push Evening, which will run from 4:30pm to 6:30pm on the 14th of April. This event will equip students and parents with the information and resources they need to navigate the GCSE window successfully.
On arrival you will be able to collect your child’s GCSE exams timetable, along with our updated ‘TRS GCSE Exams Guide’, which will give a detailed overview of how students can prepare effectively for each of their exams.
You will then have the opportunity to attend our Final Push presentation, which will be delivered once at 5pm and again at 5:45pm. In this presentation we will share a comprehensive overview of how parents can best support their children through the GCSEs. You will then be able to collect additional revision resources to take away, including highlighters, flash cards, mind maps and practice exam papers.
