First Food Collection from Local Primary Schools - Student Ambassadors Report
Nyewood Infant School
On 2nd October representatives from our Rights Respecting Ambassador team, who were all ex-pupils of the school, went to Nyewood CofE Infant School to collect food, which will become part of our massive Food Drive supporting UK Harvest. UK Harvest now delivers 27,368 rescued and redistributed meals per week working with 108 charities.
It was a great experience to see the enjoyment on the children’s faces knowing they are helping their local community and other children less fortunate than themselves. It is great to know that students from all schools are still set on changing the world for the better.
Nyewood CofE infant school raised a humongous 126 kilograms of food!
