Citizens Award for Young People Presented for Environmental Campaign

Congratulation to Connor Merrick on receiving  the Citizen's Award for Young People from Bognor Regis Mayor, Stephen Reynolds.

Connor decided after a recent holiday that he should promote Environmental Awareness at home  and designed a poster showing the length of time it takes for common items of rubbish to decompose.

 

Cllr Reynolds said:   “If it stops anyone from throwing litter and thinking of the problem it creates, that’s great.

 

“As we have a diverse community and many foreign visitors, it’s good it has been produced with a number of languages – Polish, French, German and Russian, as well as English,” added the mayor.
