Girls First Under 13's Rugby Tournament

These girls entered their first U13 girls contact tournament last week. We were lucky enough to be able to enter two teams to the competition and one team played contact and the other played touch. Both teams played 6 x 15 minute games and we had a variety of results but the most important thing was that they got better and better as the competition progressed. Having only done one half term on Rugby, never played together as a team and consisting mainly of Year 7’s where other schools had mainly Year 8 girls we did extremely well. There is another tournament in March which we hope to enter and go from strength to strength. #thisgirlcan
