Harry Potter Book Club - Studio Tour

On Thursday 23rd May, 20 of our students were joined by 20 Year 5 students to visit The Warner Brother’s: Making of Harry Potter Studio Tour. Students were met by a full size dragon in the new entrance and got to walk down Diagon Alley, journey through Gringotts and get scared in the Forbidden Forest. We also got to see behind the scenes of the tour as we took part in costume design and screen play lessons!
This was a reward trip mainly for students that have spent the last 7 months taking part in our Harry Potter Book Club but we also invited students who have done brilliantly in their Library Lessons!
This experience has been amazing, with students saying they found it “useful and helpful” and many believing it had helped them to “get better at reading”. Parents have commented how much their children enjoyed it and have noticed a difference in students reading and confidence!
