The Big Sing 2019

On Thursday the 14th of March, schools from the Felpham and Bognor area joined together for an amazing day of singing.
The theme for this year was ‘stage and screen’ and each school chose one of their favourite songs to teach and perform. The day began with bands and musicians from Felpham Community College who entertained the students and staff from primary schools as they arrived. Each school then performed each song which they had prepared for the event. The morning culminated with the FAB boys Choir performing ‘Radio Gaga’ and ‘We are the Champions’ but it is safe to say that all of our performers on the day were champions!
In the afternoon, all at The Big Sing were entertained by The Regis School Students. Our very own ‘Rock School’ students made their debut performance with ‘Attention.’ The Sixth Form students finished their set on a high with students from the primary schools joining them on stage to dance and sing along. The final song of the day was a selection from ‘The Greatest Showman’ where all 400 students came together for a finale which raised the roof. The energy and enthusiasm from all performers was infectious and everyone left the day on a high. When asked if they had a good day, students and staff alike said, ‘It was the best Big Sing Ever.’
Only 365 days until Big Sing 2020! Can’t wait!
