COVID:19 TESTING IN SEPTEMBER
It has been confirmed that all students are to be offered two voluntary COVID tests on school site at the start of term.
Parents/carers need to have given consent to these tests.
If parents have previously given consent they do not need to do so again.

Rather than booking individual appointments we are going to do the first COVID tests through a ‘drop-in’ system.
The testing centre will be open from Thursday 2nd September (see below for Year group specific timings).
Second tests will then be scheduled from Monday 6th September, in school time.

SIXTH FORM – Friday 3rd September 11-12.10pm
YEAR 11 – Friday 3rd September 1-2.45pm
YEAR 8, 9, 10 – Monday 6th September 2-4PM

YEAR 7: Friday 3rd September (8.23am - 10.30am)
YEAR 8: Tuesday 7th September (8.23am - 3.00pm)
YEAR 9: Tuesday 7th September (8.23am - 3.00pm)

*YEAR 12 course confirmation: Monday 2nd September (3.00 - 4.00pm in the main hall)
PLEASE NOTE: the ‘green gate’ will be opened at 8.10am and will be shut at 8.23am – if students arrive after 8.23am they will be deemed as being ‘late for school’ and will receive a late detention.
THE SCHOOL DAY
The school day will be from 8.23am until 3.00pm, every day (there will no longer be an ‘early’ finish on Fridays).
There will be 4 lessons a day; each 75mins in length.
