Hello my name is Mrs Ralph, I have worked at the school for 13 years.
This is my third year as Head of House for Uluru and every day brings a new challenge.
I have three children who are now grown up. They have all been educated at the school so I know what it is like to want the best for your child and here at The Regis School I think we offer that. As a Head of House I want the students to reach their full potential and I will do everything I can to help them to achieve this. I like to build up good relationships with parents as I feel if we work together this can only benefit the students.
Since we have moved to the new school and gone to vertical tutoring I can see a real difference in the students, they seem to bond better, the older students help the younger ones with a variety of things including transition period, reading, homework etc... The younger students settle in quickly and feel at ease as they get to know students from all year groups.
In my first year as Head of House the Uluru students showed that they are the best by winning the House Cup for achievement points. In the last academic year we were joint winners with Pyramids but I am fully confident that we will be the outright winners again this year as I have every faith in each and every one of the Uluru Students.
Uluru House Leaders have continued to shine throughout the year helping out at events such as Open Evening, Transition Day, Family Evening and Parents Evenings. Several Uluru House Leaders have planned and delivered their own assemblies throughout the year which is no mean feat when you have to stand in front of 230 students and 14 tutors. A very big thank you to all House Leaders for being so caring, thoughtful and being positive role models to every student in The Regis School, your help is invaluable.
As Head of Uluru I hope to go on for many more years supporting the students of TRS and helping them to achieve their goals. I know they have helped me reach mine.
Mrs Ralph, Head of Uluru House
