Schools Direct

BLUE FLAG Teaching School Alliance

Our Alliance draws its allegiance and spirit of collaboration from the twin recognition that we are all responsible for all our young people in our area, and that no single institution can meet all the needs of all of its pupils on its own.  Partners in our alliance come from twelve Secondary schools, twelve Primary Schools, three Special Schools and the University of Chichester.

All members are committed to improving Teaching and Learning as well as Leadership in all schools across the alliance.  We are responsive to meet the needs of local groups of pupils.

School Direct Teacher Training

The Blue Flag Teaching School Alliance is pleased to offer the School Direct Training programme. Applications are invited from high calibre graduates with relevant school experience.

School Direct is the exciting new route into initial teacher training. St Anthony’s School and Bourne Community College jointly lead the programme with placements offered across the Alliance area as we work in partnership with the University of Chichester.  Placements will last for one year.
