PE Department - Athlete Profile

Zoe asked to start trampolining 18 months ago, with the dream of becoming an international trampolinist, and after a trial at Dragon Flyers Trampolining Club, she was even more set on the idea.

The first competition Zoe did was at novice level where she had a good enough score to achieve a bronze medal. This gave her the drive and determination to work harder to get to where she wanted to be.

After a couple more competitions, her coaches told her they were going to be putting her forward to compete nationally.

3 national league competitions later, Zoe had reached the finals, beating over a hundred other girls in her category for her place there!

This weekend, Zoe competed in Finals, and has been ranked 22nd nationally in her category. She will start training for international competitions next year.

Her coaches have praised her for how far she has come in a short space of time, as they would expect this would usually be achieved around 3 years.
